Mission Statement
The Gan is committed to enriching Jewish life and learning for every child in our community. We believe that the earliest years of development are the most important for a child when his or her character and intelligence are being formed. We welcome children of all abilities and offer opportunities for our students to interact with their peers in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our teachers are sensitive to the interests of the children and include activities that reflect the interest of the children, their primary language, and cultural background. Our classroom philosophy emphasizes independence, self-confidence, self-discipline, and a love of learning through a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. We endeavor to impart a love for the beauty of our religion and culture. We strive to develop a love for Israel, a strong Jewish identity, and a commitment to the performance of the mitzvot.
